Oh my goodness. Can we talk for a minute about my sweet tooth? Lately, it has been out of control! Chocolate this, chocolate that. I just can’t seem to get enough these days.

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been increasing my workouts or what exactly, but I have to admit that I’ve been giving into these cravings quite often. I am not one to deny myself a piece of quality dark chocolate.

The thing is, sometimes I need more! More than just one little square of chocolate.

Sometimes I really need a homemade scone, cookie, or a brownie!

So what I tend to do when the cravings are insane like this. I still give in (otherwise, I’ll go crazy!). But I do my best to include real-food ingredients. Quality ingredients. And I’m always trying to include protein and healthy fats into my treats to make it a little more balanced.

To add to the chocolately flavor in these brownies, I was sure to include a few generous scoops of chocolate protein powder to try and boost the nutritional value, even just a little bit. PLUS, with no added sugar, you can almost call this a HEALTHY dessert! Except of course, I’d want to top it with ice cream and hot fudge, but that’s just me!

You guys, can you believe the Everything Food Conference is just around the corner? In less than 2 weeks, we’ll be hanging out and eating together, and I’m totally hoping there will be chocolate included in the noms.
